Owner and President

Maureen possesses over 30 years of office experience! In 2020, Maureen took over company operations and became MA Sanitation's primary owner, allowing Shawn to do what he loves best - working with customers!

Her favorite thing about owning the business is the feeling of pride. Seeing MA Sanitation containers and dumpsters at construction sites and at people's homes, and seeing MA Sanitation trucks on the road, "...it's such a great feeling to know that it's ours."

Maureen has been married to her husband and MA Sanitation Founder, Shawn,  for 25+ years. They have two daughters together, Megan and Abigail, who MA Sanitation was named after. 

Maureen loves to play bingo and scrapbook in her free time. 

Founder and Vice President

Shawn has over 30 years of experience in the waste industry! Shawn founded MA Sanitation in 2019. One year later, he transferred ownership and daily operations to his wife, Maureen, so he could focus on what he enjoys most about his work - talking with customers and working in the field.

His favorite thing about owning the business is sharing his extensive knowledge with MA Sanitation customers. Shawn says it best, "it feels good helping them." When you don't know what to do with all your "stuff," Shawn tells you how to properly dispose of the items! 

Shawn has been married to his wife, Maureen, for 25+ years. They have two daughters, Megan and Abigail, who MA Sanitation was named after. 

Shawn enjoys watching his girls play sports and making family dinners. 

Operations Manager

Matt is MA Sanitation's Operations Manager with over 10 years of experience in the waste industry! He is Shawn's right-hand man in the field and is the direct contact for building contractors and general foreman on construction sites. 

Matt has two beautiful daughters, Macie and Tessa. He enjoys watching Minnesota sports.
